LEMON SHARK FIN ICE RECIPE:
Depending on whether you want to flavor your drink or not will dictate whether to layer or not.
Layered Recipe:
1. Mix 1.5 cups of water with 1/4 cup of lemon juice.
2. Fill the first half of each cavity containing the Fin with the lemon liquid, then freeze for 2 hours (fill to the "fill line" if not looking to layer)
3. Once the fin layer is frozen, place a thin and evenly sliced piece of fresh lemon in the center of the cavity.
4. Fill each cavity to the "fill line" with water.
5. Freeze 2-3 more hours.
ORCA FIN ICE RECIPE:
Depending on whether you want to flavor or color your drink will dictate whether to layer or not.
BLACK FIN TIP ONLY:
1. Mix 4 Tablespoons of water and 6 drops of Black Food Coloring.
2. Pour 1 teaspoon of the liquid into each fin cavity.
3. Freeze 1-2 hours.
4. Once the fin layer is frozen, fill each cavity to the "fill line" with water.
5. Freeze another 2-3 hours.
BLACK FIN AND TOP SURFACE ONLY:
1. Mix 2/3 cup of water and 15 drops of black food coloring.
2. Pour 2 Tablespoons of the liquid into each fin cavity.
3. Freeze 1-2 hours.
4. Once the fin layer is frozen, fill each cavity to the "fill line" with water.
5. Freeze another 2-3 hours.
SOLID BLACK ICE:
1. Measure 2 cups of water and mix in 30 drops of black food coloring.
2. Pour liquid into all 6 cavities.
3. Freeze 4-5 hours.
BLOOD ORANGE FIN RECIPE:
Depending on whether you want to flavor your drink or not will decide on how you will construct this ice recipe.
1. Fill the first half of the cavity containing the Fin with freshly squeezed and strained blood orange juice, then freeze for 2 hours.
2. Once the fin layer is frozen, place a thin and evenly sliced piece of blood orange in the cavity.
3. Fill the remaining space up to the "Fill Line" with more water for little flavor OR desired liquid.
4. Freeze 2-3 more hours.
FLOATING SHARK CANDLE:
Make these adorable shark floating candle centerpieces for your next ocean/beach-themed party!
1. Place a piece of cotton wick all the way into the fin leaving 1/4" excess at the tip to be pulled out at the end.
2. Melt paraffin wax in a pan and pour into each prepared cavity.
3. While the wax is still soft, insert the wick stop.
4. Let the wax completely harden and then remove the candles.
5. Using a needle or tip of a pointy knife, pull out the excess cotton wick from the end of the fin.
MANGO SHARK FIN ICE RECIPE:
Depending on whether you want to flavor your drink or not will decide on how you will construct this ice recipe.
1. Fill the first half of each cavity containing the Fin with fresh mango juice (pure 1 cup mango with 2 cups water in a blender), then freeze for 2 hours if you want to layer. (Otherwise, fill to the fill line and freeze 4-6 hours).
2. Once the fin layer is frozen, fill the remainder of the cavity with water.
3. Freeze 2-3 more hours.
There is no limit to what you can concoct with our Shark Fin Ice Molds. Making the ice is almost as much fun as consuming them.
