As a child growing up near the shores of the Mediterranean, I spent my days wading through knee-high waters, wide-eyed and full of wonder. I didn’t know it then, but those early moments—exploring tide pools, chasing fish, playing in the sand—were shaping me forever.
That freedom to roam and discover made me fall in love with the ocean. It felt magical, mysterious, and alive. Decades later, I still feel that same spark every time I’m near the sea. The ocean continues to energize and revitalize me, just like it did when I was little.
Over the years, I’ve also seen its changes—the quiet loss of coral, the emptier coastlines, the disappearing colors. And it’s that contrast, between what I knew and what I see now, that lit the fire behind Sand Salt and Sea.
My mission is simple:
To cultivate a love for sea life in children and families—so that more people can fall in love with the ocean, connect with it, and grow up wanting to protect it.
To help children explore, experience, and engage with sea life—so they grow up wanting to protect it.
We believe that when learning feels like an adventure, it leaves a lasting impact. That’s why everything we make—from ocean-themed bibs to storytelling cards and marine characters—is designed to spark wonder, build connection, and inspire care.
Because few things bring more joy to a parent than watching their child light up with discovery.
This all started with marine-themed toys. Then came the bibs and waterproof activity cards. Next up? A toy line that brings the ocean home. And beyond that—our biggest dream yet:
A marine park where children can explore, discover, and fall in love with sea life.
Because it’s not just about teaching ocean facts.
It’s about building a relationship with the sea—one bite, one story, one adventure at a time.
Be the first to hear about our new products, ocean activities, and big blue dreams - like the marine park on the horizon.
